What are you waiting for – the perfect connection?  It’s time for women to start talking about money! (This post is a direct response to the previous post Why Women Don’t Talk About Money. If you haven’t read the previous post, go back and read it first icon smile Why Women Need To Talk About Money .)

Here are the reasons women need to talk about money:

  1. It’s time for us to talk about money, so our children will not have to learn the hard way like we did.
  2. We still can’t expect our children to learn about money in school - ultimately this is our responsibility.
  3. We will not be embarrassed talking about money if we educate ourselves about money.
  4. Are you positive your husband takes care of all that – how do you know if you don’t talk to him about it?
  5. Talking about money doesn’t make you obsessed – it makes you smart.
  6. If you really have no money, you need to talk to someone and figure out why!
  7. Debt is a killer of family finances - women need to speak up and ask for change.
  8. We may not want to look dumb now, but that’s nothing compared to how we will feel when it’s time to retire and we can’t, because we have no money!
  9. Does comparing the sale prices of our  shoe purchases count as talking about money?
  10. Stop worrying about whether it’s not feminine to talk about money – and put your concern into having enough of it.
  11. If you need to, confess your deteriorating financial situation right now, and get some help to change your life.
  12. Think about all the fun things you will be able to do when money is no longer an issue!
  13. You may be in for a big surprise when the money fountain stops flowing, because there is no money left.
  14. I would love to talk to you about money, and help you become more confident in your financial decisions!
